Here's a quick list of what you might want to see when you are here:

	Beaches, Surfing, and Camping Lompoc is only minutes to some of the prettiest beaches in the world. One of our favorites is Jalama Beach. (Click here for more info.) My surfing friends tell me this is one of the best surfing beaches in California, and my fishing friends tell me this is one of the best fishing beaches in California. I can't attest to that because I don't surf or fish, but I can tell you it's gorgeous, there is no cell service, and I highly recommend buying a hamburger at the Jalama Cafe.
	Murals As you drive around Lompoc you will see dozens of murals. In fact, the photos we have taken of our staff are taken with the various murals as backdrops. It's worth seeing when you come.
	Wine Country As you drive from place to place here you'll pass rolling hills of beautiful vineyards. We make some of the best wine in the world in this valley. There are a few organizations that offer wine tasting tours, that will enable you to see many of the vineyards and wineries, and taste a good number of local wines. And that's a good way to do it - on a tour - so you don't have to worry about driving.
	Restaurants If you love great food you are in the right place. 	Vandenberg Air Force Base This is located only 15 minutes from the dealership. The people you meet from Vandenberg are some of the most impressive human beings on earth. Among other things, they are in charge of blasting off rockets and missiles. If I were coming up to pick up my new car here, I would make a point of seeing if I could get a tour of the base while I am here.
	Solvang Solvang is located 25 miles away from Lompoc. It is a fun weekend getaway spot for people who live in Los Angeles. Its also on the bus tour route for people who come to the United States from Europe and China. Google it and see some photos. You would think you are in Europe.
	Los Olivos In Los Olivos you will find a variety of art galleries, small shops, tasting rooms, upscale hotels. One of our favorite hotels is the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn and Spa, which you can see by clicking here. You remember Fess Parker, right? He was the actor who played Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone in the late 1950's and 60's. Anyway, this is his place.
	Cachuma Lake This is a beautiful lake. If you are driving up from Los Angeles (or from the south) one route you can take to the dealership is over "the pass" from Santa Barbara, which is Route 154. When you travel this way and pass over the crest of the mountains toward Santa Ynez, Solvang, Buellton, Los Olivos, you will see on one of the most breathtaking views of your life - the lake and the mountains. This lake is Cachuma Lake. Cachuma doesn't offer any opportunities for water sports, but it does offer a tour that is worthwhile. The Rangers will take you for a ride on a small boat and show you the various wildlife that lives there, including eagles. Again, it's the kind of thing that once you do it, you'll never forget it.
	The Pacific Surf Liner Train If you don't have a car to trade, consider taking the train here and we will pick you up! Amtrak runs a special passenger train along the coast. The views are stunning. We can pick you up at Santa Barbara, or you can take the train to Lompoc. Now this is a great adventure. I take the train to visit my family in San Diego sometimes. It's a wonderful way to travel.
	Unique Stuff How about an ostrich farm? No, I had not ever been to one either. About 20 minutes from Lompoc on Route 246, which connects Lompoc with Solvang, is Ostrich Land. You can stop in and feed them - which doesn't necessarily sound like fun, but it really is fun and something you'll remember forever.
